Breakfast Tray at Delifrance

Wednesday, May 14, 2008
Update: Delifrance is now Cafe France.

After a tiring night shift from work, my friends and I feels that we need a hearty breakfast to fill our tummy.

We decided then to go to Delifance Greenhills Theatre Mall, to deviate from the usual breakfast atmosphere that we have in Eastwood, Libis.

Breakfast at Délifrance at Greenhills Theatre MallI was dead set on ordering for a pasta so that I could skip lunch that day, but, the Omelet Set and the Breakfast Tray tat they were offering is too hard to resist, so, I settle for the latter.

VJANDEP Pastel Buns

Thursday, February 28, 2008
VJANDEP Pastel is a yema-filled buns that is considered popular “pasalubong” items from Camiguin Island and Cagayan de Oro City.

I had my first taste of this to-die-for buns last 2005 when my friend/co-worker Ida brought some in the office, and it was love at first bite.

VJANDEP Pastel Buns with FillingsAside from yema, other flavors are cheese, langka, macapuno, mango, pineapple, and ube. Other flavors that are available only through special orders are durian, guava, strawberry, and of course, chocolate. Do not be deceived by how ordinary it may look because, eating these yema-filled buns can be very addicting.

YedyLicious Manila Food Blog Says Hello to Blogging World

Hi there peeps!

I'm Yedy.

Join me as I document my love for food, writing, and photography.

Please note however that this is not a food blog for restaurants review.

I don't think I am in a position to judge people who make food to earn a living.

So, no. You cannot find blog post here of bad restaurant experiences because I do not like negativity. I could throw in a little precaution every now and then but it would not be done in a such a way to malign anyone. You can find that elsewhere, but not here.

I would much rather focus on the positive aspect of my gastronomical experiences and celebrate the goodness that this delicious life has to offer.

As a true blooded Filipina living in Manila, I vow to write stories of my food experiences here in Manila. Blog posts from travel can also be ideal and  will also try to incorporate them here. But please know that majority will be restaurants, food businesses, and great food you may find here in Manila.

While this is primarily a food blog, I may write about other things beside food because there are tons of things that comprise a delicious life. Let us celebrate those as well.

So, there. Stay put. Because in this journey, I am taking you with me.

Love,
Yedy
