Viva Lasagna Pizza!!!

Lasagna and Pizza, anyone? or should I say, Lasagna and Pizza, in-one!

Viva Lasagna Pizza is the newest offering from the country's leading pizza restaurant, Pizza Hut.

It ia a new addition to the their Italian-inspired flavored pizza, popularly known as the New Viva Italian Pizza. Now, by being innovative as always, they were able to combine two Italian-inspired favorites: lasagna and pizza and came up with this to-die-for flavor of Pizza.


The Viva Lasagna Pizza is made up of a not too thick nor too thin soft pizza dough topped with fresh lasagna noodles, beef, savory meaty lasagna sauce, premium tomatao sauce, and of course, the cheese in which for this particular flavor, three kinds were used: mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan.

Since this flavor is one-of-its-kind, expect that unlike your usual pizza which you can eat with your bare hands, this one needs a plate and fork as it tends to be sloppy to eat. Nevertheless, each bite is bursting with flavor that will make you crave for more.

Viva Lasagna Pizza is priced at only P299 for 10-inch pizza and P479 for 14-inch pizza.

This is available for dine-in and delivery, but personally, I prefer to eat this at the comfort of our home so no one would really care if I binge on it and be oh so sloppy.

After months or even years of not seeing each other, it is always good to spend a dinner with good old friends over a plateful of delectable food couple up with stories to share to catch up with each others lives.

When I finally have a chance to meet up with my friends, we roam around Tomas Morato in search for a nice resto where we could spend the night away without the hustle and the noise of local bars where we used to meet up during college days.

Chilli's Tomas Morato is a perfect place because aside from the good food that they serve, they also have a great customer service and really nice ambiance.

MONTEREY CHICKEN

Marinated, grilled chicken breast w/ BBQ sauce, applewood smoked bacon, mixed cheese and diced tomatoes. Served with mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy and seasonal veggies.

GRILLED PORK BELLY

Generous portions of marinated tender pork belly grilled to perfection. Served with Pueblo rice and fresh veggies with sour spicy vinegar and garlic sauce for dipping.

GUILTLESS CHICKEN PLATTER

Grilled marinated chicken breast with rice and fresh veggies.

Since the food is so good, I cannot help myself but to bring home some more.

It was a night of good catching up stories, good friends, and good food on a good night like it was.

Pastel Buns With A Twist

It is very comforting to know that VJANDEP Pastel buns with yema filling which used to be just one of the pasalubong from Camiguin has now hit the metro. Perhaps due to its booming popularity. I bought mine at St. Francis Square near Megamall in Ortigas and then another in a Food Fair at the lower level of Robinson's Galleria near Our Father's Coffee in front of Watsons.

The yema-filled buns are sweet and tasty in itself. But having a sweet tooth, I prefer it with a whip cream and some chocolates kisses on top. It's a new twist for this pastel buns I surely love.
