[BORACAY] A Stay at Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel

Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is one of the Beach Front View Hotels located at Station 2 of Boracay Island here in the Philippines. Known for its pristine beach, Boracay Island is one of those destination that a lot of locals and tourists have been visiting.

While there are a lot of hotel accommodations at Boracay, Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is one of the few who have bagged numbers of awards due to its great service and high quality facilities. 

Together with some of my blogger friends, I was able to check out Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel during our visit to the island. And let me tell you, it was an amazing experience that I cannot wait to bring my loved ones here and have them experience the grand time I had at the hotel while in Boracay.

Part of the accommodation at Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is airport transfer so guests wouldn't have a hard time figuring out and arranging details as to how they can get from airport to the hotel. Staff manning the can and boat are all very accommodating and friendly. They speak both Tagalog and English so foreign tourists shouldn't have a hard time conversing with them should they have specific request. 

After a bit of travel time, our group were led to the hotel lobby where we were given a welcome drinks and asked to fill out some papers for our weekend stay at the property.

Right after the check-in process, we were then billeted to our designated rooms.

I was assigned the Grand Deluxe Poolside Room located at the ground floor of the hotel that features contemporary Filipino design with subtle Mediterranean touches. It was a big room, approximately 36sqm, advertised as a nook perfect for couple. But personally, I think this room can fit 4 persons max with its hugeness.

The King-size canopy bed was very comfortable I didn't have a hard time dozing off. I Slept like a log during the night.

Aside from the main bed, there is also a tatami bed which is perfect if there are more than two people occupying the room. 

There is also an in-room lounge area / living room with decent sized sofa and center table. 

There is also the usual vanity space and a flat screen TV. Tucked inside the mini cabinet under the TV is the mini ref where usual minibar stuff can be found. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and sugar are also provided.

Now another thing the impressed me the most about my room was the bathroom. It was huge as compare to the usual size of a deluxe room in other hotels I have stayed in the past.

The bathroom features a bathtub and all the other usual thing one may expect from a decent hotel bathroom. It was beautifully designed and very functional. This is also where the closet that carries bath robes, towels, iron, and even umbrella is located.

Since this room is located by the pool side, I have these beautiful sightings for my view.

To say that I was impressed with my room is an understatement. I really love it and I cannot wait to bring my family here. Now I can understand why Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is one of the best hotels considered in Boracay Island.
