I am super stoked to share recipes using my new KitchenAid Mini Stand Mixer but let me give you first some information you want to know about this new addition to the KitchenAid family. It was only early this month when KitchenAid Mini was launched here in the Philippines facilitated by Focus Global Inc., the exclusive distributor of KitchenAid here in the country.
Thanks to the fun hands-on baking class led by no less than chef Miko Aspiras during the launch, I personally got to experience the amazing power of this new baby. With that, I am excited for you my dear readers to #MeetTheMini.
"Mini" is the operative word because compared to other full size KitchenAid titl-head stand mixers, KitchenAid Mini is 20% smaller and 25% lighter but said to be just as powerful.
KitchenAid Mini is made specifically for people who wants a compact size stand mixer but still offer the same overall features of the larger KitchenAid stand mixer models. It only means that just because it is mini does not mean that it performs less. It is basically the same powerful machine but more space-friendly and a tad lighter than its senior models.
This is perfect for those who has small kitchen or limited counter space. It can easily fit the lifestyle of millennial urban dwellers and empty nesters in smaller households who want smaller mixer that still offers the same wonderful user experience of KitchenAid Stand Mixers.
I could somehow relate to this. My sister who lives in a condo cannot push thru with buying her own KitchenAid stand mixer because it will take up significant space on her kitchen. Imagine her excitement now that there is KitchenAid Mini. As for me, extra space in the kitchen is always, always appreciated. Extra space to work on, more possibilities of kitchen creations.
Just like the larger models, KitchenAid Mini also has a durable full-metal construction and it inherited the same elegantly smooth rounded tilt-head design. Currently, the available colors include Hot Sauce, Guava Glaze, and Honey Dew. Come the mid of this year new colors will be available such as Black Matte, Matte Grey, and Twilight Blue.
It also holds the promise of creating the same trademark results of beautiful batters, doughs, and blends through the same patented planetary mixing action known for KitchenAid mixers. Its 3.3 L stainless bowl can make up to five dozen cookies using two cups all purpose flour or 1.5 cups wheat flour.
KitchenAid Mini standard accessories include 3.3 L Brushed Stainless Steel Bowl without handle, Wire Whip made out of stainless steel 6 wires and aluminum head perfect for mixtures that need air, Flat Beater in aluminum and anti-stick powder coating (polyester) perfect for normal to heavy mixtures, and Dough Hook also in aluminum and anti-stick powder coating perfect for mixing and kneading yeast doughs.
Optional accessories which are sold separately include Pouring Shield which helps prevent splashing of ingredients, 3.3 L polished stainless steel flared bowl with handle, and a Flex Edge Beater which is a beater coated metal with santopene side that guarantees faster mixing without interrupting the motor and using spatula.
Another remarkable feat of KitchenAid Mini is the soft start feature that helps lessen dry ingredients from splattering as it starts mixing smoothly and slowly before reaching the desired speed intended.
Now as a home chef myself, the thing that I like most about KitchenAid Stand Mixers in general is its signature KitchenAid Attachment Hub. Simply because it solidifies the fact that this amazing gadget can do so much more.
KitchenAid Mini has that hub as well which can fit 14 of the KitchenAid attachments namely Spiralizer, Gourmet Pasta Press, Ravoli Maker, Pasta Sheet Roller, Pasta Cutter Set, Pasta Sheet Roller Set, Citrus Juicer, Grain Mill, Rotor Slicer, Slow Juicer, Food Tray, Sausage Stuffer, Food Grinder, and Food Processor.
Priced at Php31,190.00, KitchenAid Artisan Mini, just like other KitchenAid products is a good investment considering its top notch quality. It is available in all KitchenAid Experience Centers, Coleman Service Centers, and Rustans. It is also offered in Lazada and Tackthis.
As mentioned, I am excited to share some recipes here on YedyLicious as I put my new KitchenAid Artisan Mini to test, so please look forward to that.
