Kowloon House West

December 02, 2008
What could be a better way to spend a cold day when you got nothing else to do than having a beer and a feast of good food with your good friends? I can't think of anything.

Since I have an alcohol tolerance of an infant, I have come to terms with the fact that beer sessions with friends is one way to appreciate good pulutan rather than forcing myself to keep pace with friends who are naturally a beer drinker. And for that matter, Kowloon House is not a disappointment.

Known for their best Siopao in the metro, Kowloon House West other foods are equally commendable.

I have been to this resto for a number of times but mostly, it was for gatherings, meaning I get to eat food inside the resto's main building.

But this particular day is different. Since I am with my guy friends, I have to be a cowboy. Since to have a cold beer is the goal of the day, we settle outside the main building where their take-out and inuman area are located.

The place is resembles that of simple carinderia hence, diners would have to sit in a monoblock chairs if not made out of wood. Since it is an open area, the ventilation is good, well at least on that day because it was slightly raining.

But one should not be deceived because the food is well, the same as the one that they are serving inside the resto, meaning, everything is very affordable and good.
