Boulangerie22 is one of the newest pastry shops that opened in Manila this year. With branches located at Eton Baypark Manila in Roxas Blvd., Natividad Building in Chino Roces, One Legaspi Park Condominium in Makati, Greenfield District in Mandaluyong, and soon to open in Alabang and SM San Lazaro Boulangerie22 is set to conquer Manila with its delicious offerings.
Boasting of combining traditional principle of baking spiked with modern twist, Boulangerie22 uses classic artisan method in making bread combined with the use of state of the art baking machines. It is said that a commissary like this is first in the Philippines.
The method of merging the classic and modern method of baking combined with the talent, passion, and perseverance of dedicated bakers at Boulangerie22 produces delicate and delicious breads made from scratch. This is what Boulangerie22 is most proud of.
While I haven't visited physical stores that Boulangerie22 have, I was able to sample some of their bread offerings and cake. Pastries and bread as expected, are aplenty. There's Mozzarella Sausage Tteok Bread, Hungarian Sausage Mozzarella Bread, Cheddar Chicken Floss Bread, Saboro Bread, Honey Garlic Stick Bread, and Korean Black Sesame Red Bean Bread just to name a few.
Boulangerie22 also offer delicious cakes. And very apt this holiday season is their Christmas Cakes like the White Chocolate Christmas Forest Cake and Dark Chocolate Christmas Forest Cake. I got to try the later and it is basically a Chocolate Chiffon in Chocolate Buttercream topped with Dark Chocolate Ganache.
The cake was delicious - very delicate in flavor and texture. My nephew who doesn't eat chocolate went crazy over it especially the chocolate shavings because it was really good.
The few things I have tried at Boulangerie22 were all impressive it made me crave for more. I particularly like the Saboro Bread and the Korean Black Sesame Red Bean Bread which was sent to me in generous numbers it was crazy and I love it. Made me think that they have an idea how I love Korean food, if that's the case, it was really sweet of them.
I am still yet to visit one of their shops and will definitely blog about it in due course. Meanwhile, I suggest that you visit them as well and try their delicious breads and other offerings.
