I honestly wasn't too familiar with Kraver's Canteen until I was introduced to it recently. Boy did I realized I was missing something really amazing. Apparently, Kraver's Canteen is a cloud kitchen concept that houses different food brands ready to cater to food loving netizens via food online delivery.
It's like virtually going into a food park and then right after choosing variety of food you want to feast on from different purveyors, they will deliver it right at your doorstep. One of the good things about it, you need not to order from different food purveyors separately hence, reducing the cost of delivery fee.
There are variety of food you can choose from which are available from Kraver's Canteen list. Browsing through their website really got me drooling, I tell yah.
Some of the food I have tried are some of the new items on their menu. I had the Kraver's Insani-Tea (Php170) which is Kraver's version of home brewed iced tea. Really far from the usual mass produced iced tea we can get everywhere, Insani-Tea is downright refreshing and delicious. Try this and you wouldn't want to go back from drinking powdered iced tea.
I also had the Cloud Cakes' Chocolate Cake (Php 180) which richness of the chocolate was commendable! I admit, my 12 yr old nephew finished the entire tub of cake before I was able to take photo of its cross section. It just goes to show that it's one of those which you cannot stop eating once you started digging in!
Then I also had their Ready To Heat Frozen Litson Baka (Php179 / 150g) Re-heating is fairly easy as the instruction was included in the packaging. Mine was already defrosted so I just popped it in the oven for good minutes then I just eat it with a bowl of steamed rice and I felt that everything is alright with the world once again. It was so flavorful it's one of the best Litson Baka I've had for the long time!
Another Kraver's grub that's well worth raving for was the El Nacho Libre's Lechon Baka Burrito (Php 359). I love burrito in general but this rendition with the well-loved Lechon Baka thrown into the mix together with Mexican rice, shredded lettuce, sauteed corn, veggies, and pico de galo wrapped in soft tortilla bread is in another level. You'll get to taste that distinct taste of litson baka with a Mexican touch.
Then, there's my personal favorite, unless your a vegan or you are someone who doesn't enjoy having a mental sparring with your cardio, it is impossible not to fall in love with Burger Jack's Smashed Lechon Baka Burger (Php239). Imagine a delicious juicy smashed burger with all the works topped with equally mind blowingly delicious slices of litson baka then you'll have this heaven sent of a burger. Trust me, go order this!
Based on these few delicious grub I have tasted from Kraver's Canteen, I must say I was impressed. I love the concept of having several different brands in one roof and I love the convenience of having the things you want delivered right at the comfort of your home. Needless to say, Kraver's Canteen is one of those I can highly recommend for you to try out.
