Jollibee Hash Brown Burger

September 18, 2011
Truth be told, I like Jollibee Yum Burger.  It’s not the type that I would usually crave for, yet, it’s not the type that I would say no to when I am offered one.  Maybe because it brings a lot of childhood memories.  Of the times when school Christmas parties were held on a budget.  Of the times when every children’s party in our neighbor was held at the nearest Jollibee store.  Of the times when a wound can be healed by a loving touch of my mother and tears can be put into a halt just by a mere presence of a tray full of Jollibee goodies.

Although I may have encountered and fell in love with different burger joint while growing up, Jollibee will always be well acquainted with my memories and my palate.

While I enjoy the usual Jollibee Yum Burger up to this day, their new offering, the Jollibee Hash Brown Burger is a welcome change.

It’s the usual Langhap Sarap Beef Patty with a slice of cheese and a smear of catsup, but instead of buns, it’s sandwiched between two golden crispy baked hash browns.  Since the hash browns are baked, you have less to worry about consuming extra oil as compare to the usual burger.

I love how some the juice of the beefy patty immerses into some parts of hash browns where it lazily sat, making it more flavorful  without assaulting the crispiness of the hash browns.  Add to that the slice of cheese and a smear of catsup which made the entire deal all the more savory and indulging.

You can enjoy Jollibee Hash Brown Burger at 64php solo and 80php with a drink.

  2. My fave burger at Jollibee is the Champ, though having hash brown on a burger is odd though, but it's a deal since you don't have to buy fries anymore, it's like having a burger and fries at one bite...
