The Ultimate Taste Test 6.0 PART 2 : The Feast

September 07, 2011

Despite the heavy breakfast my mother served me last Saturday, I was able to try all the food served during the Ultimate Taste Test 6.0.  We started around 11:30 in the morning, took 3 breaks from eating, then finished at around 5:30 in the afternoon and left to attend a dinner buffet.  Too much eating, eh? I am a foodie, people, I am hardcore that way.

Some of the food vendors were familiar since I frequent to Mercato Centrale during weekends, while some were new to me.  Not all of them were generous with their food servings but I understand because they have 1000 foodies to feed, for that matter.  Also, it’s not advisable to gorge on specific food of large quantity as you might be too full to enjoy other dishes.  On the other hand, there were some vendors who were generous enough to encourage a second round.

During the event, I was already taking notes what food vendors will make it to my top list.  I did have a hard time because most of them served really good food.  I will be dishing my list of Ultimate Taste Test 6.0 Top Picks on my next post, but meanwhile, I’m just gonna throw in photos of some of the food we feasted on.  I had a hard time taking decent photos for some vendors because some of the stalls were either too crowded or it’s just plain impossible to take photos on their stall.

If you want to check the complete list of all the vendors, check out Anton’s post.

Again, these are just SOME of the food we feasted on.  Some, I wasn't able to took photos of, while the others are on my next post.  There were lovely foods and there were some which in my opinion were just okay.  In general though, all the food vendors did a great job in serving all the 1000 foodies who gathered in this festivity.

Kudos to all of the food vendors at the Ultimate Taste Test 6.0.!
