The Original Cookie Sticks: Happiness In a Form of Sticks

The Cookie Sticks is a new food business concept specializing in well-loved cookies with a different treatment. Instead of the usual round flat shape, Cookie Sticks features a modern twist to a classic - cookies in a form of stick. 

Established by Marc and Tina, a couple that hails from Marikina City, The Original Cookie Sticks aims to provide a new way to enjoy an old-time favorite. A very apt accompaniment to cookies in stick form, Grissini or Breadsticks is also one of the products that The Original Cookie Sticks is known for.

Currently, The Original Cookie Sticks has three branches; SM Megamall, SM Fairview, SM Southmall, Malanday Marikina, and a distributor at The District Ayala Northpoint Mall in Talisay Negros Occidental.  I got to visit their SM Megamall branch recently to try their products and while I haven't opened my stash yet, I was already impressed by the look of their kiosk.

If you are a big fan of cookies like I am, you might find these elongated happiness delightful - a break from the usual. Especially when you've come up with other possibilities to enjoy it such as dipping it into perhaps a jar of Nutella or Jam or anything which you fancy including milk. 

Since it is in stick form, I love that there is enough room to which I can hold the cookie while dipping it into something (milk, chocolate, jam, etc.) Really it is very convenient. 

The Original Cookie Sticks flavors is divided into two categories; the Classics and the Premium. The Classic includes Oatmeal Choc Chip, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Chip, and Snickerdoodles. The Premium flavors on the other hand includes Coco Sugar Oatmeal, Almond Butter, Brownie, and White Choc Chip.

Aside from its unique execution in terms of appearance, what I love about these cookies is the quality of taste. It's not your run of the mill variety, I tell you. One bite and already it's a dead giveaway that quality ingredients are used to come up with these flavors.

The Grissini or Breadstick also holds the same great tasting quality as the cookies. Aside from the Plain, it is available in three different flavors namely Italian Herb, Parmesan, and Garlic. I love munching on these sticks as it is but I find it rather enjoyable when eaten with a plate or two of pasta.

I find it hard to decide as to which flavor my palate favors well since I find everything very satisfactory. But the Snickerdoodle and the Brownie are two of the flavors I finished in one go. So, that must says a lot.
