California Pizza Kitchen Pizza Wars 2016

With this, an annual pizza-making competition for their in-house chefs called Pizza Wars is conducted to challenge their pizza makers to take their talent and passion to the next level.

This friendly competition went through several rounds of competing and elimination process. The final round which happened last June 14 resulted into a successful event and was graced by esteemed judges namely Archie Rodriguez and Griffith Co (GRCICFO) alongside respected celebrity chefs Sau Del Rosario and Sandy Daza. 

Cantonese and Indian Buffet Food Festival at The Cafe, HYATT City of Dreams Manila

I will be writing about the buffet at The Cafe of Hyatt City of Dreams Manila soon because its awesomeness in terms of food quality, service, and price merits its own blog post. For now, this is all about the Cantonese and Indian Food Festival which will be happening at Hyatt - definitely one of the many reasons why you should visit them soon.

Aptly tagged as a Celebration of Two Asian Culinary Traditions, the Cantonese Food Festival and the Indian Food Festival will be happening on June 14 to 19, 2016 and July 14 to 24, 2016 respectively.

This celebration holds the promise of inviting guests and diners at The Cafe to embark on a gustatory journey, a delicious road that leads to China and India. So if you love Cantonese and Indian Cuisines, there is not reason for you to be  missing this especially that the buffet rate at The Cafe of Hyatt is surprisingly affordable.

Shakey's PH Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza! @ShakeysPH #ChangeTheWay

This afternoon, I got myself Shakey's Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza via the Shakey's delivery. This newest pizza variant is said to be the Shakey's move to change the way its Guests enjoy corned beef. I learned that it is available for limited time only, from June 3 to August 31, 2016 so I figured I should give it a shot.

I recently renewed my Shakey's Supercard and you know how amazing the perks this awesome card can give to its members so, it was really a perfect time to try the Corned Beef Pizza Crrrunch.

I wouldn't be in Manila for its media launch but since it is Shakey's we are talking about here (Yah know how much I love their thin crust pizza.) I am way too excited to take dibs and share my thoughts on it here on the blog. So here we are.
