Shakey's PH Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza! @ShakeysPH #ChangeTheWay

This afternoon, I got myself Shakey's Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza via the Shakey's delivery. This newest pizza variant is said to be the Shakey's move to change the way its Guests enjoy corned beef. I learned that it is available for limited time only, from June 3 to August 31, 2016 so I figured I should give it a shot.

I recently renewed my Shakey's Supercard and you know how amazing the perks this awesome card can give to its members so, it was really a perfect time to try the Corned Beef Pizza Crrrunch.

I wouldn't be in Manila for its media launch but since it is Shakey's we are talking about here (Yah know how much I love their thin crust pizza.) I am way too excited to take dibs and share my thoughts on it here on the blog. So here we are.

Shakey's Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza is essentially topped with generous amount of corned beef strands, garlic, caramelized onion, feta cheese, and wait for it -- crunchy potato strings!

It was only recently that I wrote about my newest favorite corned beef and while I have a slight doubt that they are using the same brand the point here is that I love corned beef so Shakey's Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza, in ts perfect execution is a sure winner for me. The flavor is undoubtedly laden with beefy goodness.

The use of crunchy potato strings is not really something new to Shakey's as they already have that in their Angus Steak Pizza. But still, besides the corned beef streaks, I believe that it is the biggest factor that contributes to the crunchiness of the pizza.

Imagine a corned beef flakes fried into perfect crispness and add to that the crispness brought about by the potato strings. This makes it perfect with Shakey's signature thin crust which I always favored compared to the hand tossed ones. I could understand why the word "crrrunchy" on its name was playfully spelled that way. 

This pizza may not have the gooey-melted-cheese quality that most of us love but it is understandable because it is not actually positioned to be that way. it's main selling point is its crunchy texture besides of course the inclusion of corned beef, hence the name. The feta cheese was however a thoughtful addition that contributes to its flavor. 

So I think it is pretty obvious that I am taking a great liking to this new product by Shakey's therefore, I deem it is highly recommended especially if you are up for changing the way to enjoy your usual corned beef. 

And if you are so inclined, I suggest that if you still haven't gotten a Shakey's Supercard yet, better get it now. I believe that they are having a promo wherein you'll get some Shakey's food voucher upon availing of their Supercard, and that promo is for limited time only. 

Plus, if you have this card, not only will you get a free pizza on your birthday, but you'll also get 10% off on your total bill for every dine-in and take out, and a free pizza for delivery transaction. Sweet, sweet deal.

For this particular Shakey's delivery, I only pay for Php676.00 for a party size thin crust Corned Beef Crrrunch Pizza and a 1.5 liter of Coke. Since I have the Shakey's Super Card, I got a free party size classic cheese pizza.
