There are a lot of things which I love about ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL but for this blog post, I am going to narrow things down to five to keep it as uncomplicated as possible. After all, ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is like that - uncomplicated yet efficient. Very user friendly which made me love it all the more. 

And don't we all love uncomplicated gadgets for our daily use?

I myself is guilty for having penchant for uncomplicated gadgets because as a blogger and photographer, I tend to deal with techie stuff on a daily basis. And the least thing I want to come across with is something which requires creating havoc in my brain just to get things done.

1. Beautiful and Tough Design

ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is sleek and elegant, to put it simply. People who have seen me using this phone cannot believe that it costs only Php7k+ especially that I got mine in color gold. All thanks to its hairline design with metallic finish back cover. It also features a best grip design with its arc back with thinnest edge measuring just 3.9mm.

It also boasts of Cornilla Gorilla Glass 4 which provides protection against accidental damages. I am very careful when it comes to my mobile phone but I cannot always say no to a 6-year old nephew who enjoys borrowing it. So it is important to me that this phone got me covered when it comes to being tough.

2. Outstanding Performance

I have been testing this phone for a little over a week now and I must say that so far, so good. It has a smooth performance even on extended time use without lag. Call quality is impressive since it has ASUS Noise Zero Talk Technology which helps in eliminating echoes and background noise during calls. Connectivity is also well worth the praise since aside from the usual stuff, it is LTE compatible as well.

Battery life is impressive so far. It can last the whole day with continuous use. But then again, that depends on the usage scenario. I usually use the basic apps such as Yahoo Mail, GMAIL, Facebook, Instagram, VSCO, and YouTube on a daily basis and I noticed that it can last a day and a half before recharging the battery.

3. Ease of Use

I cannot stress enough how user-friendly  ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is. But the thoughtful addition from ASUS came in a form of Easy Mode which allows user to simplify the layout and enlarge its text. So it can be a perfect phone for both teens and elderly. 

It also has a Kids Mode in which users can choose the application available when kids borrow their phone. Since my nephew often borrow phone from me, I find this very usable. No accidental Instagram / Facebook posts that can happen.

4. Affordability

ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is priced for only PHP 7,695.00 depending on the distributor/store. Meaning to say, it is not just cost-effective, but it can be considered as a bang for your buck as well considering its specs. I believe it is the only phone in this price range that holds an impressive features.

5. Camera

For bloggers like myself, a good quality camera phone is very important. Because you know, DSLR is not that easy to carry especially if the trusted nifty fifty or the kit lens isn't what the occasion calls for. I am guilty of this. I have mentioned in this blog before that I have trained myself to be fully functional with whatever camera I got at hand. Mostly, its phone camera.

So I am glad that ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL with its PixelMaster Camera fits the bill. This version has a 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Add to that the 0.3 second Laser Auto Focus and f/2.0 aperture Toshiba lens. Impressive.

Good enough to capture decent photos for blog posts if I do say so myself. Aside from that, there are numbers of camera settings to choose from including HDR, Low Light, and Manual settings which most DSLR users, I am guessing are very fond of. 

Since camera is one of the most useful functionality for me, I did some test shots the previous days using ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL. Most of these shots are on Auto mode since I will be posting more blog posts using other camera settings in due course.

So basically, photos above are decent enough to be considered for blog posts. It is such a relief because now, I don't have to worry about not having my camera with me on spur-of-the-moment food trips as long as I have my ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL with me since it can do the job pretty well.

So that's just five of the things I love about ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL and there are plenty more but I will be dishing it out in random posts since I am planning to use its camera in future blog posts.
