McDonald’s Sans Rival and Oreo McFlurry

Wednesday, May 13, 2015
McFlurry with Sans Rival and McFlurry with Oreo - two of the many reasons why I have been frequenting McDonald's this summer season. With scorching heat of the sun, there couldn't be more apt way to beat the heat at a very affordable, not to mention sweet way than to indulge in these two McFlurry flavors by McDonald's.

Sans Rival and Oreo McFlurry are two of the Summer Desserts Lineup at McDonald's this season alongside Apple Pie ala Mode and the Apple Kiwi Surprise McFloat.

These two aren't really new kids to join the exciting food items at McDonald's. But due to popular demand, Sans Rival and Oreo McFlurry made a comeback to make McDonald's desserts aficionado  way sweeter.

Kumori Japanese Bakery Philippines

Tuesday, May 12, 2015
Kumori Japanese Bakery which hails from Japan hit the Philippine shore recently and has now two branches; one in the basement level of Landmark Makati and the basement level of SM Makati. Kumori which bears the slogan “It’s Japan baked Daily” prided itself with their natural, handmade, fresh, and quality breads, cakes & pastries that echo artisanal baking craftsmanship of Japanese tradition.

First time I learned about Kumori was when I read it from Table For Three, Please blog. I am a big fan of cheesecake, hence, the Hanjuku Cheese, a bite sized Japanese cheesecake caught my attention immediately.

I have not visited the physical store as of yet, but it is one of those places I wish to check out sometime soon when I visit Manila. Friends from Kumori however sent over a package recently as a prelude of what to expect from Kumori Japanese Bakery Philippines.

Hap Chan Restaurant in Antipolo City [Antipolo Food Trip Series]

Monday, May 11, 2015
Hap Chan Restaurant located along Circumferential Road in Antipolo City is one of the few Chinese Restaurants in the area. Few being the operative word since majority of the restaurants in Antipolo is either Filipino or anything else not Chinese. For someone who loves Chinese food such as myself, it can be disheartening. Good thing though that there is Hap Chan Restaurant, one of the famous Chinese restaurant chains in the country.

There are two Hap Chan branches in Antipolo, the other one is located at the new Robinson's Place along Sumulong Highway. But the branch my parents swear by is the one along Circumferential since it is the one they frequent to especially when having our car checked at Goodyear Servitek located just in front of the restaurant.

While I have attended a family gathering held at Hap Chan Antipolo way back, I have not really dined in there as a customer ever since I moved back in Antipolo. But I know some people aside from my parents who are pretty much happy dining at this branch hence, I know I should visit sometime soon.
