Caruso Ristorante Italiano, a fine dining Italian restaurant in Makati City is one of those which have stayed under the radar for years now. Yet, its silence does not mean that it lacks the things well worth raving. As a matter of fact, it is pretty popular among Italians living here in our country and it already has another branch located in Boracay.

Italian restaurants here in the Philippines, particularly in Manila are aplenty. There are some which swears by its authenticity with the land in which it hails from while the others played the tweaking challenge in order to suit locals' palate. Caruso is one of those which remains true to the Italian food form.

A fine dining place that boasts of high quality and great tasting food, impeccable service, and impressive ambiance, Caruso is slowly making its way to the band of restaurants currently making wave in the world wide web, all thanks to some bloggers whose raves are really hard not to notice. I figured it's also time for me to check this place out.

I chanced upon Little House of Cheesecakes and More in Antipolo City while I was working on a write up for one of the food magazines I am writing for. Situated at the new commercial complex that boasts of new restaurants and food stores near Ynares Center in Antipolo, The Little House of Cheesecakes is not really hard to locate.

The name may imply that the store sells different kinds of cheesecakes you could ever imagine. I myself, was under that impression. Yet, my visit opened my eyes to this wonderful little world of well yes, cheesecakes - and then some. That includes one of my most favorite things in the world - books.

I notice that there is a sudden wave of new restaurants opening in Antipolo City and as a blogger, it really makes me happy. So, in continuing with my Antipolo Food Trip Blog Series for YedyLicious, let us talk about The Little House of Cheesecakes and More (LHCM).

Lee Hak BBQ Buffet Korean Restaurant, Kapitolyo Pasig

Recent cravings for Korean food led us to Lee Hak Legendary Korean Restaurant along Pioneer St. in Kapitolyo Pasig to avail their BBQ Buffet offerings one afternoon. Larcy's Cupcakery Cafe at Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons Pasig City

I've been hearing about Larcy's Cupcakes for a while now, more often when talking with friends about their bet for Best Cupcakes in Manila. It was only recently that I had a chance to try it when we visited Larcy's branch at Estancia Mall Capitol Commons which is way accessible for me compared to their flagship store at BF Homes in Paranaque. 

Right then I understand why this cupcake shop has been receiving love from impressive numbers of cupcake lovers I know. 

I admit that I only have limited knowledge about the history of Larcy's. All I know is that it started in Davao, it moved to the Southern part of the Metro, and then eventually branched out in Pasig City. Another thing that I know, I dig their flavor profile considering I am not really big on cupcakes for reason I have mentioned on my previous cupcake post.

Le Petit Souffle

Upon learning that Le Petit Souffle at Century City Mall in Makati is a concept by chef Miko Aspiras together with other partners, I knew from the get go that it is going to be a hit. As expected, days after its opening, food bloggers in Manila and other foodies online started raving about the goodness of the dishes being served at Le Petit. Understandably so, since this French restaurant with a touch of Japanese got renowned chef under its helm.

It took me a while to pay a visit to Le Petit Souffle because that is what usually happens if you are swamped with too much work you can't even recognized yourself in the mirror or if you live up in the mountain (both in my case). Nonetheless, my visit poised me to join the band of people raving about Le Petit. 

Tucked inside the Century City Mall which numbers of foodie places including Hole In The Wall reached an impressive mark in foodies' radar, Le Petit Souffle is one of those which you should not miss.
