Carte D'Or Gelato Philippines

If there is one thing that I am totally loving right now, food-wise that is, I would say it's Carte D'Or Gelato. Carte D'Or is a number one premium ice cream brand from United Kingdom that captures the heart of ice cream-loving people all over Italy, France, Russia, Brazil, and Turkey. It recently made its debut here in the Philippines, their first venture in Southeast Asia.

I was sent four pints of Carte D'Or the previous week and I swear to heavens I fell madly in love with it that I have been buying pints after pints of it to this day. It is quite addictive because it's really really good.

Carte D'Or brand's goal is really very straightforward - to craft the best gelato there is. Based on experience and in my own opinion, I think they are winning in this league. I have several favorite gelatos I have tried in my lifetime and Carte D'Or Gelato has easily made it to my favorite list.

Currently, there are four Carte D'Or Gelato flavors available in the Philippine market.

Carte D'Or Pistachio features pistachios harvested from South Australia and California where it is said that long summer yields the best nuts. These pistachios were then roasted and pureed then folded into real thick Australian cream. I will say this from the get-go, among the flavors, this one is my personal favorite.

Carte D'Or Salted Caramel Gelato features combination of Australian butter and cream. Caramelized sugar and salt are then folded into the concoction that resulted into a rich and well rounded caramel flavor with salty streak that made the combination all the more palatable.

Carte D'Or Double Dark Chocolate is a dream come true for chocolate lovers out there. It boasts of chunks of Belgian chocolate rooted from the 400-year old chocolate-making tradition in Belgium. It is then stirred into chocolate gelato that gives a chocolate on chocolate experience more luxurious and divine.

Carte D'Or Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato highlights the best hazelnut in the world that hails from Turkey. It is then combined with wafer crisps and folded into chocolate hazelnut based gelato. This one is also my personal favorite. I love the texture brought about by the hazelnut and wafer crisp.

Carte D'Or Gelato is now available at all leading supermarkets and convenience stores including Robinsons, Rustan's, Puregold, 7-Eleven, and Ministop. A 475ml pint is priced at Php295 only.
