Hey guys, so for a while now I have been dishing out stories of my food adventures here at YedyLicious Manila Food Blog. And as we all know, the restaurants and food businesses featured here are those which I deem Best in Manila (Again, I don’t believe in wasting time writing about those which I only got lukewarm enthusiasm about) Suffice it to say that while I appreciate and heed to your generous recommendations, everything I have featured here are my personal choice.

I have always been grateful to those of you who make my opinion and recommendation matter and count.  

But now it’s high time to turn the table. Yes, it is your turn to make your choice count.

The Original Cookie Sticks: Happiness In a Form of Sticks

The Cookie Sticks is a new food business concept specializing in well-loved cookies with a different treatment. Instead of the usual round flat shape, Cookie Sticks features a modern twist to a classic - cookies in a form of stick. 

Established by Marc and Tina, a couple that hails from Marikina City, The Original Cookie Sticks aims to provide a new way to enjoy an old-time favorite. A very apt accompaniment to cookies in stick form, Grissini or Breadsticks is also one of the products that The Original Cookie Sticks is known for.

Currently, The Original Cookie Sticks has three branches; SM Megamall, SM Fairview, SM Southmall, Malanday Marikina, and a distributor at The District Ayala Northpoint Mall in Talisay Negros Occidental.  I got to visit their SM Megamall branch recently to try their products and while I haven't opened my stash yet, I was already impressed by the look of their kiosk.

Playful, bold, and genius - if I could sum up I AM KIM at Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons Pasig City in three words, that would be it. Specializing in Korean Stone Bowl Rice or popularly known as Bibimbap, I Am Kim is a brainchild of who in my opinion is one of the best chefs in Manila, Chef Him Uy de Baron of Nomama Ramen fame.

While the recent discontinuation of the ramen place threw a sense of despondency up in the air inhaled by Nomama Ramen aficionados, myself included - Chef Him's flair for translating his genius into palatable creations remains unabated. Case in point, I AM KIM

If it isn't your first brush with Chef Him's creations, the same enticing charm can be well expected with his offerings at I Am Kim. As for me, we will go back to the firsts three words of this write up - playful, bold, and genius. Now let me prove my point.

Minions at McDonald's has been creating a buzz recently and our friends at McDonald's Philippines is happy to share with us the good news about this exciting Minions invasion. Minions Happy Meal Toys, Themed Desserts, and Combos - any Minions fanatics would sure be happy to indulge themselves with good food at McDonald's with a dash of happiness that Minion toys could bring.

If you have a child (or a nephew in my case) who is mad crazy about Minions, you would probably understand how exciting this news is.

My nephew Caiden and I have been collecting Happy Meal toys for years now and the inclusion of Minions in McDonald's arsenal of collectibles surely made us happy and excited. What made me all the more excited are the band of themed desserts and combo meals that comes with this McDo Minions invasion.

KFC CHIZZA No Crust Pizza by KFC Philippines: Chicken + Pizza = #KFChizza

KFC Chizza (#KFChizza) is KFC Philippines' newest product to hit the market today. A combination of two most well-loved food chicken and pizza, KFC Chizza features KFC chicken fillet topped with pizza sauce, pepperoni, bell peppers, pineapple tidbits, and melted cheese. This no crust pizza boasts of the finger lickin' good flavor known for KFC and the amazing goodness of pizza all in one - it's crazy, and I love it!

KFC Chizza will be officially launched on July 8, but it is currently being rolled out today, July 3 up to tomorrow July 4 on selected KFC branches, albeit in limited servings only as a preview of the product.

If you are the type who is always torn between having chicken or pizza, KFC Chizza might be is the answer. I should know, because sometimes, there is this cosmic torment dictating I cannot have both so I am grateful to KFC Philippines for coming up with such great product.

The Spice Lab PH: Seafood Chili Garlic with Sausage and Mushroom

This Seafood Chili Garlic with Sausage and Mushroom of The Spice Lab PH and I, are in some kind of a happy relationship. Surprising to say since there are countless of times that I mentioned here at YedyLicious that I never fancy spicy food that much. Until recently.

I guess the timing is just perfect. I am finally outgrowing my aversion to spicy food. Some say it has something to do with maturity of the palate, others considered the usually cold weather to where I am residing right now. While I am not sure of the reason for the change in preference, what I am sure of is that I am having a grand time with my bottle of Seafood Chili Garlic from The Spice Lab PH.

KFC Unlimited Breakfast & Waffle Buffet #KFCWaffleBuffet

KFC Unlimited Breakfast is back, but this time, a Waffle Buffet is included to make our mornings even brighter. Happening every weekend since June 13 to July 5, 2015 from 7:30am to 10am on selected KFC branches nationwide, KFC Unlimited Breakfast & Waffle Buffet is one good reason to wake up early and celebrate beautiful weekend mornings with your loved ones. I know I did.

While KFC Unlimited Breakfast Buffet isn't really a new promo since they had it previously, the addition of unlimited waffle in unlimited ways sure brought delight to KFC breakfast lovers out there such as myself.

Eighteen Bistro at Sct. Rallos, Quezon City

Recent restaurant adventure led me to Eighteen Bistro located at Sct. Rallos in Quezon City - one of the newest restaurants to hit Tomas Morato area restaurant landscape. A food business clothed with passion that a family running it has needle and thread for, Eighteen Bistro specializes in well-loved homemade dishes which recipes that span from generation to generation.

Fighting its way in our local food scene peppered with businesses boasting of their own family recipes, Eighteen Bistro which opened just this year harbors no illusion of indispensability. Yet, their firm grasp on what they offer best and their flair for offering enticing promo such as the 18-peso cocktails serve as one of their strongest suits.

Finding myself along Tomas Morato area is a rarity these days ever since I moved to the mountainous East. But there are some gut feel I trust with unequivocal certainty. That day, my gut threw a nod of approval and hinted that the travel will be worth it. As I expected - it was.
