Build Your Own Brownie Sundae at BONO Artisanal Gelato

Build Your Own Brownie Sundae is the new apple of my eye at BONO Gelato's menu. I have always been a fan of BONO from the get go since theirs are the best gelato I have ever tasted here in Manila. Now that they have released this new creation, it made me love them all the more.

I am a sucker for brownies and sundae isn't a bad idea either. The fact that it can be customized to my liking is the proverbial icing on the cake.

So this afternoon at Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall, I joined my friends The Mommist, Dude 4 Food, and Hefty Foodie in checking out BONO to try the Build Your Own Brownie Sundae. 

The process in building your own BONO's Brownie Sundae basically involves four steps;

(1) Choose your gelato (1 flavor)

(2) Choose your toppings (2 variants)

(3) Choose your sauces (2 variants) 

(4) Revel at the big chunk (must I say slab?) of the Ultimate Brownie that will come with your creation.

There were several options to choose from it was hard for me to narrow things down to what I really want on my cup. I was glad that I ended up with the best tasting brownie sundae I have ever had. 

My creation:

Caramel Miso Gelato + Cereal Crunch + Pretzel Crunch + Salted Caramel Sauce + Chocolate Sauce.

These things plus the Ultimate Brownie at the bottom of the cup and another one thrown in alongside the gelato. Pure bliss, man. Pure bliss.

I love that the brownie they use is a feat in itself. It can be purchased as it is for Php75 only. The Miso Caramel Gelato was equally impressive just like all the other flavors at BONO. 

I could not stop raving about it as I worked my way through my cup of heaven. It was the kind of deliciousness I know I couldn't find in any other gelato store here in Manila. Hands down, BONO is still The Rockstar.
